Kids and Horses

This fun and educational camp is designed for kids aged 11 to 14 who are eager to learn about horses and horsemanship. Over the course of three exciting days, campers will gain hands-on experience with basic horse care and riding techniques. Here's a breakdown of the activities:

Day 1: Introduction to Horses & Groundwork

• Meet the Horses: Introduction to the horses, including breed characteristics, behavior, and safety around them.

• Groundwork: Learn essential groundwork skills such as leading, lunging, and horse body language.

• Grooming: Discover how to groom a horse, including brushing, cleaning hooves, and understanding horse care.

Day 2: Saddling & Basic Riding Skills
